About Me
BA Fine Art: Painting and Drawing, 2018.
MA Art History, 2024.
Northamptonshire based artist specialising in Equestrian art.
Like many equestrian artists, horses have been a great love of mine since I was a young girl.
Over time my art practice has become an expression of my love of horses and history.
While studying at Northampton University, my art found a new purpose. My research became richly influenced by the past and the equestrian traditions that played an important role there, such as the art of side saddle riding. Since graduating, my fascination with capturing glimpses of the past on canvas has lead me to the vibrancy and pageantry of the 17th century.
I wish to grace the canvas with the presence of elegance and strength. I've found that these two things aren't often paired together, but that they are commonly found in the form of the horse.
I'm very fortunate to be surrounded by inspiration, particularly from our beautiful animals; Ringo, Saffy, Lulu and Skye.
